At Emma Evans Funeral Services, we believe families should be able to make informed decisions with complete confidence.

We are committed to being honest, transparent and professional in everything we do. This policy sets out how we manage and disclose any financial or business interests that could influence the advice or recommendations we provide.

Financial Interests

Emma Evans Funeral Services is an independent funeral director.

At the date of this policy:

• We do not receive commission, referral fees or financial incentives for recommending third-party suppliers or service providers.

• We do not have any ownership or financial interest in crematoria, cemeteries, memorial masons, florists or any other external organisations that could influence our recommendations.

• Should this position change in the future, we will update this policy and inform families where appropriate.

 

Third Party Recommendations

Where families ask us to recommend a supplier or service provider, our recommendations are made solely on the basis of quality, suitability and the wishes of the family.

Families are free to choose any supplier or service provider they prefer.

​

Gifts and Hospitality

​

Employees of Emma Evans Funeral Services must not accept gifts, payments or hospitality that could influence their professional judgement.

Any gifts or hospitality accepted in accordance with company policy will be recorded where appropriate.

 

Conflicts of Interest

Any actual or potential conflict of interest will be disclosed promptly and managed openly, fairly and transparently to protect the interests of the families we serve at all times.

Responsibility

Emma Evans Funeral Services is responsible for implementing, maintaining and reviewing this policy and ensuring that all members of staff understand their responsibilities.

 

Review

This policy will be reviewed annually or sooner if there are changes to legislation, business practices or external interests.
